Born in Darmós (Tarragona), she finished her singing studies at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, obtaining a master's degree in Interpretation and Singing.  She currently receives advice of the soprano Mariella Devia.

At the age of 16 she made her first appearance at the Young Opera at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC). Later she attended several Opera Studio programs in Barcelona as Britten's Little Sweep, Glück’s Orfeo ed Euridice, Rita by Donizetti and Un ballo in Maschera.

She has been awarded in various contests, among others the Montserrat Caballé, Mirabent i Magrans and Tenor Viñas 2016.

Sara Blanch stands out for her versatility also in the concert and oratorio repertory, where she shows her musical and expressive sensitivity, always praised by critics and public.

In 2013 she debuted at the Rossinian Festival of Pesaro (ROF), performing the role of Contessa di Folleville (Il Viaggio to Reims). In the same year she sang the role of the Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute) in Sabadell. In 2015 she debuted at the Rossini in Wildbad Opera Festival in the role of Elvira (L'italiana in Algeri) and came back in 2016 as Adele (Le Comte Ory) and in 2019 with Matilde di Shabran. She has performed Norina (Don Pasquale), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), Fanny (La cambiale di matrimonio), Berenice (L'occasione fa il ladro) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni), among others.

In the last seasons she has debuted at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville and Teatro Verdi in Salerno (The Magic Flute), Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona (Thaïs, L’italiana in Algeri and L’enigma de Lea), Teatro de la Zarzuela (Châteux Margaux / La viejecita), Teatro Real Madrid (The golden Cockerl, Thaïs), Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo (L'elisir d'amore and Il Turco in Italia), Peralada Festival (Thaïs), Perm (Lucia de Lammermoor), Palma de Mallorca (L’elisir d’amore) and Turin (L’italiana in Algeri).

Recent and future engagements include Don Pasquale in Seville, Lucia di Lammermoor in Oviedo, Policías y ladrones at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, La clemenza di Tito at the Liceo y La scala di seta at the Rossini in Wildbad Festival, well as several concerts and recitals in France, Italy and Spain.
