Sabina studied music at the Conservatory of Music "Pablo Sarasate" of Pamplona and received master classes from Victoria de los Angeles, Miguel Zanetti and Daphne Evangelatos. Sponsored by the Government of Navarra she moved to Italy, where she continued her studies at the academies of Siena and Verdiana Chiggiana Busseto under the tutelage of Carlo Bergonzi.

She won the contests "Ricardo Zandonai", "National Competition for Young Performers' Musical Youth, "Luis Mariano", "Francisca Quart "and" Manuel Ausensi". Also got the Operalia Zarzuela prize, which took her to sing in the final gala with Plácido Domingo. In Spain has sung in Madrid (Teatro Real, Teatro de la Zarzuela), Pamplona (Baluarte, Gayarre Theatre), Oviedo, Valladolid, Jerez, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Bilbao (Eskalduna, Teatro Arriaga) etc., Playing roles like "Zerlina" (Don Giovanni),"Rossina" (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), "Oscar" (Un Ballo in Maschera), "Susanna" (Le Nozze di Figaro),  "Lisette" (La Rondine), "Micaela" (Carmen), "Gilda" (Rigoletto), "Amina" (La sonnambula), "Poppea" (Incoronazione di Poppea), among others.

She interpreted the zarzuelas Luisa Fernanda, La Generala and La del manojo de rosas, directed scenically by Emilio Sagi. Has also sung Marina, El asombro de Damasco and Gran Via

In 2001 she made his debut at La Scala in Milan, under the direction of Maestro Muti, playing "Oscar" (Un Ballo in Maschera). Was directed by Maestros Muti, Curtis, Rousset, Guingal, Lopez-Cobos, Victor Pablo, Gomez Martinez, Conti, Arrivabeni or Fogliani, among others.

In the field of oratory has sung: Magnificat, Christmas Oratorio and St. Matthew Passion of Bach, Carmina Burana, Pergolessi's Stabat Mater, Requiem and Coronation Mass by Mozart, Fauré Requiem, etc. Outside Spain has worked in Paris, London, Vienna, Washington, Liége, Bordeaux, Nantes, Verona, Toulouse, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tokyo, La Plata, and in theaters as Wien, Scala, Champs-Elysees, Barbican ...

Among her discography highlights: Handel's Ariodante under the direction of Alan Curtis and with Joyce DiDonato, Falstaff directed by Arrivabeni with Ruggero Raimondi, or Luisa Fernanda recorded at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

On July 2013 Sabina made her debut at the Royal Opera House, performing Lisette at La Rondine,  with A. Gheorghiu.
