Born in Granada but raised in Madrid, she studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto with Ramón Regidor and José Luis Montolio. In 1997 she won the Francisco Viñas Singing International Contest in Barcelona.

She debuted at the Vienna State Opera with Rosina of Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and after her success she was immediately invited for Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Olympia). She debuted in La Scala with Gilda of Rigoletto and at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro as Countess Adele in Le Comte Ory and came back the following year with Demetrio e Polibio. She made a similar success invited by Maestro Alberto Zedda, at the Wildbad Opera Festival in Germany performing La Gazza Ladra and in Gulbenkian in Lisbon with the first modern performance of Zaira.

She has appeared in Lucio Silla (Celia), Cendrillon (La Fée), Lucia di Lammermoor and Rigoletto at the Liceo of Barcelona; Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) in Oviedo and Pamplona, Black el Payaso, I Pagliacci and Los diamantes de la Corona at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid; L’elisir d’amore in Vigo and Sevilla; Alcina and Lucio Silla at the Teatro Real Madrid, Lucia di Lammermoor in Tel Aviv; La bohème in Sevilla and I Puritani in Savonlinna, among others. 

Recent and future engagements include Le nozze di Figaro in Palma de Mallorca, La tabernera del puerto in Oviedo, I Puritani at the Liceo, Carmen in Oviedo and Les pêcheurs de perles in Bilbao.
