Lyrical-light tenor born in Barcelona, ​​stands out in the Mozartian repertoire and in the Italian romantic belcanto.

His repertoire includes operas such as Die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni, Die Entführung aus dem Serrail, L'occasione fa il ladro, L'Elisir d'amore, or Falstaff, among others.

He studied singing at the Conservatorio del Liceo with the tenor Eduard Giménez and the Conservatorio Jaoquín Rodrigo de Valencia with Ana Luisa Chova. He has attended masterclasses with Montserrat Caballé, Raúl Giménez, Leyla Gencer, Luciana Serra, Dolora Zajick or Jaume Aragall. He studied Art History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

She has sung at the Gran Teatro del Liceu, the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Auditorium of Barcelona, ​​the Campoamor Theater of Oviedo, the Opera of Las Palmas, the Mario del Monaco Theater of Treviso, the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, the Rossini Festival of Wildbad and in several seasons. of the Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell.

He has worked under the baton of conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Riccardo Frizza, Pinchas Steinberg, Corrado Rovaris, Gustav Kuhn, etc.

Marc Sala has participated in several contemporary operas such as Alba Eternal by Albert Guinovart, Ainadamar by Osvaldo Golijov or The monster in the maze by Jonathan Dove (Festival Grec 2018).

He received the Ferrer Salat award in the Viñas Contest and was a finalist in the Montserrat Caballé International Contest. His discography includes the operas Le siège de Corinthe by G. Rossini (Naxos) and the opera Gaziel by E. Granados (Triton).
