Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, she is one of the most sought-after mezzo-sopranos on the international lyric scene, due to her extraordinary vocal and interpretative skills. She studied at the National Conservatory V. Sarajishvili National Conservatory and at the Academy of the Teatro alla Scala. She has also won prestigious international competitions, such as Operalia, the Toulouse competition, the Viñas competition, the Belvedere competition and the Obraztsova competition.

She has sung in well-known opera houses and festivals on the international circuit, including the Teatro alla Scala, the Royal Opera House, La Fenice, the Teatro Real, the Deutsche Oper in Berlin and Rhein, the Teatro Regio in Parma and Torino, L’Arena di Verona, the Théâtre du Capitole, the Teatro Massimo of Palermo and Catania, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Semperoper, the Montpellier Opera, the Santiago Municipal Theatre, the Washington Opera, the Rome Opera Theatre, the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Quebec Opera, the Los Angeles Opera, the Marseille Opera, the Wielki Opera, the Lausanne Opera, the Teatro de la Zarzuela, the Teatro Verdi, the Monte Carlo Opera, the New National Theatre of Tokyo, the Teatro de la Maestranza, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Israel Opera, the Malmö Opera, the Oper Graz, the Teatro Principal de Palma, the Teatro Petruzzelli, the Avignon Opera, the Teatro San Carlo, the Maifestspiele, the Spoleto Festival, the Sferisterio of Macerata, the Soirées Liriques Sanxay, the Quincena Musical, the MITO Festival, the Wexford Festival and the Tsinandali Festival, among others.

Ketevan Kemoklidze played the character of Adriana Ferrarese in the film Io, Don Giovanni by Carlos Saura.
