The Argentine bass-baritone Fernando Radó has established himself as one of the most internationally sought after young singers, being invited to theaters such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Opéra national de Paris, the Real de Madrid, the Liceo de Barcelona, the Staatsoper Berlin, the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the Colón de Buenos Aires, performing roles such as Colline in La Bohème, Escamillo in Carmen, Timur in Turandot, Nourabad in Pearl Fishers, Don Giovanni, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, Oroveso in Norma, Sir Giorgio in I Puritani, Count Rodolfo in La Sonnambula, Goffredo in Il Pirata, Prince de Bouillon in Adriana Lecouvreur, Monterone in Rigoletto, Frate in Don Carlo, Roucher in Andrea Chenier and works from the symphonic repertoire such as Verdi‘s Requiem, Malher’s Symphony n. 8 and Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven, Stabat Mater by Rossini and Mozart‘s Requiem.

At only 21 years of age, he won the international singing competition Neue Stimmen 2007, and was immediately invited by Daniel Barenboim to perfect his opera studio. He was also the Argentine winner for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2009 in Wales, and was a finalist at the Operalia 2011 in Moscow.

He recently sang Colline from La Bohème and Nourabad from Les pêcheurs de perles at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. At the Teatro Real he has participated in Rigoletto (2015), I puritani, Otello, Norma (2016), Madama Butterfly, Macbeth, Carmen, La Bohème (2017), Giovanna d’Arco, Don Carlo (2019), Norma and Don Fernando, the Emplaced (2021), Le nozze di Figaro, Siberia and La Sonnambula (2022).
