Antonio Corianò studied at the Centro Universale del Bel Canto in Parma and at the Accademia Filarmonica in Bolonia. He continued his training first with Raúl Giménez and at present with Lucrezia Messa.

He debuted in 2010 with the role of Alfredo in La Traviata at the Teatro Comunale of Budrio. The same year debuted the role of Manrico in Il Trovatore at the Ravenna Festival, conducted by M° Paszkowsky. Later he sang Malcolm in Macbeth at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma conducted by M° Riccardo Muti, role that he sang also at Teatro alla Scala with Valeri Gerghiev and at the Comunale of Florence with James Conlon. Again in Florence he sang in 2013 Luciano Berio’s Otto Romanze da Camera di Giuseppe Verdi, conducted by Daniele Rustioni and in that season he debuted two roles at Teatro Regio of Parma, I Masnadieri and Simon Boccanegra.

During the year 2015 he made his debut in two new roles, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly at Teatro Petruzzelli of Bari and Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca at Cairo Opera. He also sang Ismaele in Nabucco, first at Teatro Petruzzelli and then at Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma (Caracalla). In 2016 he came back to Cairo as Riccardo in Un Ballo in Maschera and performed the role of Bardo in Verdi’s Inno delle Nazioni at Teatro Municipale of Piacenza.

In 2017 Antonio Corianò sang Madama Butterfly at Sarasota Opera (USA), Nabucco at the summer season of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and Il Trovatore in Oviedo. In 2018 he covered the roles of Enzo Grimaldo in La Gioconda at Teatro Municipale of Piacenza conducted by M° Callegari, and the one of Foresto in Attila at Verdi Festival of Parma, conducted by M° Gelmetti.

Recent and future engagements include his debut as Don Jose in Carmen in Oviedo, at the Ravenna Festival, Ferrara and Lucca, Un ballo in maschera in Cairo, his debut in Dvorak’s Stabat Mater at Teatro Bellini of Catania, Il Trovatore in Sassari and I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata in Montecarlo.
