Antoni Lliteres

From Artà, Mallorca, he studied at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona and at the Balearic Islands Conservatory. In 2018 he was awarded third prize in the singing contest of Mirabent i Magrans of Catalonia and in 2019 he was awarded first prize in the Logroño International singing contest. He continued his training with Juan Lomba (Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid), Darrell Babidge (The Juilliard School of Music NY) and the mezzo-soprano Elisabetta Fiorillo; and repertoire with Marta Pujol, Marco Evangelisti and Alejandro Calafat, among others.

In 2019 he officially debuted playing the character of Shakespeare A Midsummer Night’s Dream by J. Gaztambide at the Teatro de la Zarzuela. In the same year he also performed Rodolfo La Bohème with the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, conducted by Manel Valdivieso, and Alfredo La Traviata with the La Verdi orchestra in Milan, conducted by Andrea Oddone. In 2020 he sang Alfredo from La Traviata, Macduff from Macbeth  in Sabadell, and Tamino from Die Zauberflöte  at the Teatre Principal in Palma, with maestros Xavier Puig, Daniel Gil de Tejada and Josep Plans respectively. In 2021, he also sang Tamino Die Zauberflöte again at the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo, and Leandro La Tabernera del Puerto at the Teatro de La Zarzuela, directed by Lucas Macías Navarro and Óliver Díaz.

In 2022 he debuted Il Duca di Mantova Rigoletto with the Catalonia Opera Foundation, in Catalonia and Santander: and Alfredo La Traviata at the Teatro de La Maestranza, with Daniel Gil de Tejada and Manuel Busto. In 2023 he made his debut in Sweden, at the Opera på Skäret as Il Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto. His zarzuela repertoire also features the roles of Fernando in Goyescas, Roberto in Bohemios and Eloi in Cançó d’amor i de guerra.

In the field of sacred music, he has interpreted The Messiah, Coronation Mass and Requiem, Messa di Gloria, the Petite Messe Solennelle, 9th Symphony, and Messa da Requiem, conducted by Edmon Colomer, José María Moreno, Fernando Marina, Antoni Pons or Felipe Aguirre.

In addition, he has participated in the seasons of various orchestras, such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands or the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias, conducted by Pablo Mielgo and Lara Diloy.
